Climate Change: What it Means for Us, Our Children, and Our Grandchildren
A Climate Change Conference sponsored by the UCI Newkirk Center resulted in a book titled, Climate Change: What it Means for Us, Our Children, and Our Grandchildren, now available in hard copy or paper back from MIT Press.
Climate Change brings the how, what, and why of climate change from the laboratory and government conference to your living room. It begins with a presentation of the science of climate, but unlike most other publications, doesn't stop there. Climate Change than tackles the issue of how scientific knowledge has been and can be turned into action by governments and businesses. The book also provides recommendations for ways to further the public's understanding of this complex international environmental challenge and thereby convert it to public opinion that drives policy.
